1. TÉRMINOS DE REFERENCIA – App “Recetario de Plantas”
1. Antecedentes del Proyecto
La aplicación Recetario de Plantas es una herramienta digital de carácter educativo, patrimonial y cultural, basada en conocimientos tradicionales presentes en Chile y en información disponible en fuentes abiertas del Ministerio de Salud de Chile (MINSAL).
La aplicación no es medicinal, no ofrece consejo clínico, no diagnostica enfermedades y, de manera expresa, no prescribe tratamientos médicos, los que solo un médico puede realizar.
2. Objetivo del Servicio
Establecer las funciones, limitaciones y alcances del uso de la app, resguardando que la información no sea interpretada como orientación médica o terapéutica.
3. Alcance
La app entrega:
- Información de plantas tradicionales de Chile.
- Usos domésticos y culturales no medicinales.
- Datos provenientes de fuentes abiertas del MINSAL.
- Funciones de búsqueda, favoritos y visualización educativa.
No entrega dosis, terapias, indicaciones clínicas ni recomendaciones de salud.
Cualquier interpretación de la información con fines médicos constituye un uso indebido.
4. Responsabilidades de la Persona Usuaria
El usuario declara comprender que:
- Toda la información tiene fines culturales y educativos.
- La app no prescribe tratamientos médicos, los que solo un médico puede realizar.
- Ante síntomas, enfermedades o dudas de salud, debe acudir a profesionales autorizados.
- El contenido no sustituye atención médica, farmacológica ni terapéutica.
5. Responsabilidad del Titular / Desarrollador
El titular:
- Informa que los datos del MINSAL utilizados provienen de acceso público y no se interpretan clínicamente.
- No se responsabiliza por usos indebidos o decisiones de salud basadas en la app.
- Garantiza que la app no cumple funciones de salud ni diagnóstico.
- Puede actualizar la información educativa sin alterar su naturaleza no medicinal.
6. Propiedad Intelectual
Propia del titular, salvo las partes provenientes de bases abiertas del MINSAL, cuyo uso se indica expresamente.
7. Modificaciones
El uso continuo implica aceptación de modificaciones futuras.

The application is not medicinal, does not provide clinical guidance, does not diagnose any condition, and explicitly does not prescribe medical treatments, which only a licensed physician can provide.
2. Purpose of the Service
To define the functions, limitations, and responsibilities associated with the use of the application, ensuring that no part of its content is interpreted as medical or therapeutic advice.
3. Scope
The application provides:
- Information on traditional plants used in Chile.
- Domestic, cultural, and non-medicinal traditional uses.
- Information derived from open-access MINSAL sources.
- Search, favorites, and educational visualization tools.
The application does not provide dosage instructions, therapies, clinical recommendations, nor health-related guidance.
Any attempt to interpret the information with medical intent constitutes misuse.
4. User Responsibilities
The user acknowledges that:
- All content is intended solely for cultural and educational purposes.
- The app does not prescribe medical treatments, which only a licensed physician can provide.
- Any health concerns must be addressed by consulting a qualified healthcare professional.
- The information does not replace medical, pharmacological, or therapeutic care.
5. Responsibilities of the Developer / Owner
The project owner:
- Confirms that any MINSAL data used comes from public open-access sources and is not clinically interpreted.
- Is not responsible for misuse of the information or for health decisions based on the app.
- Guarantees that the application does not perform medical, diagnostic, or therapeutic functions.
- May update the information without altering its non-medicinal nature.
6. Intellectual Property
All proprietary content belongs to the owner, except for portions sourced from MINSAL open databases, whose origin is duly acknowledged.
7. Modifications
Continued use of the application implies acceptance of future modifications to these Terms of Reference.
